The construction team this month were busy carrying out the backfilling of the basement. The backfilling of a basement is an important step in the construction, providing vital structural stability, support to the basement walls and a barrier for external forces.
The team are close to finishing the backfilling to the basement, fire tanks, lift cores, the situ walls adjacent to the fire pump and potable water area
June 2022
The first two months of construction consisted of a lot of cleanup and preparation work including the fill importation and basement wall reinforcement. Once this initial phase is complete, we’ll start to see a few more exciting changes on site at One Richardson.
